A Man Running

A man is running, running down a dark hallway
All he can see what seems like miles away
A tiny key whole sized speck of light
As he runs he can’t help but look back
As he sees, monsters, demons and devils
After that short pause of look back
He continues running, looking forward once more
As he nears that speck of light which has grown
The man stumbles and falls
Frantically he gropes the floor trying to stand up.
His hand hits something odd shaped and metal
He picks it up and to his astonishment it is a Key
He makes it to his feet running still fast
All that is behind, drawing nearer,
He looks back thinking of running towards his fears
He decides to run as he reaches the door he proceeds to
Reach for the Key hole missing he puts a dent in the door
His demons and devils, the monsters that torture him catch up
As he frantically shoves the key at the door missing every time
He now has worked a small whole in this door, more light revealed
They distract him knocking the key from his hands
He focuses on the light more and more leaving them behind
Still missing the key whole, after a long but promising battle
He breaks through the door, he is Free he passes into the light
He looks back only long enough to say see I am Free
As the demons, devils, and monsters disappear in the Light!
